What to expect
The West Coast Beatbox Championship is the USA's leading international beatboxing competition. On November 6–8, 2026, competitors will face off in three Beatbox Battle categories for the chance to win the grand prizes and esteemed title of West Coast Champion.
The weekend-long event is where enjoyers of music festivals, fandom conventions, and alternative sports all meet under one roof. We showcase the art form of Human Beatbox at the highest level and invite professional and amateur artists to participate as competitors and performers. The West Coast Beatbox Championship attracts the best beatboxing and loop station artists from around the world — including national and world champions — through our high-integrity competitions and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're the world's biggest beatboxing superfan or just checking it out for the first time, this is the event for you.
In 2026, the West Coast Beatbox Championship will take place at The Template in Ocean Beach, San Diego. The Template is an authentic, artistic space perfect for beatboxing — while also being a great coffee shop in Ocean Beach! We're excited to return to this venue after the success of West Coast Champs in 2025.
Challengers face off through a series of head-to-head, 1v1 beatbox battles. Battle winners move on until there's only one competitor left, earning the title of West Coast Beatbox Champion.
